Assassin's Creed Reveals Surprising AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre collaboration that defies conventional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Revealed
According to the official release, "A mysterious meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of forbidden practices and terrifying transformations resonate through the obscurity." The storyline features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden sect.
The adventure centers on "peculiar tests and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Transformations
The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Rewards and Additional Content
Players who accomplish the quest will acquire an exclusive katana alongside numerous objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
- Titan-based outfit for Yasuke
- Mikasa attire for Naoe
- Unique weapons
- Survey Corps mount
Newest Free Story Update
This update also introduces the game's third free story addition, titled "The Mystery."
