From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of personalities, and a gripping narrative including divine entities, evil spirits, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.
Warning: Key plot points for the latest installment of this adventure lie ahead.
The Warrior Group Introduced
Episode 3 finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the premier party of characters who will split off from the primary party to undertake their own adventure, distinct from the other two tables.
This warrior group consists of Teor (brought to life by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan (the actor).
The Reason for Division
With 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that having everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.
Hence, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Introduction, weaving together the characters’ stories before dividing into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Explorers.
What Defines the Combat Party
Per the DM, the warrior group is for adventurers who are drawn to a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are rare.
Upon first impression, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might appear mismatched, but the developments of episode 3 demonstrate why these specific adventurers are best suited for the warrior group.
Why They Must Go
To begin with, the team has a clear idea where to head next after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.
An old friend of Thjazi—whose death started the narrative’s action—used the foes for his own means, entering the secret base, striking the character, and stealing all the magical artifacts to dispose of.
The traitor then paid off his debts and fled to a secure base in the northern region, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.
Character Drivers
Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart Dol-Makjar:
- The agile hero, as the close ally and best friend, wants revenge.
- The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a hostile location.
- Tyranny and Wicander, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to kill the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
- But, their status as important members in the influential clan could assist the group access places they usually can’t.
- Furthermore, Teor pledged a life debt to Wicander for his salvation and will now go with him wherever.
Wanted and Hunted
Finally, all of them are hunted by the rulers that govern the setting for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind too risky:
- The agile adventurer and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
- The warrior and The cleric defied the influential house and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
- The target is wanted dead by the family.
This results in them few options but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of Casimir.

From the recent installment’s follow-up content, we discover that the warrior group will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the participants to form the Seekers and Planners tables.
